Tulsa International Airport (TUL) and Promise Hotels celebrated the opening of the new 103-room Home2 Suites hotel that offers travelers a convenient option when flying through Tulsa. The property is the second hotel onsite at the airport, the other being the Hilton Garden Inn Tulsa Airport, which is also owned and operated by Promise Hotels.
“Today marks a special moment as we officially welcome the community to this convenient, modern hotel,” said Alexis Higgins, TUL CEO. “We look forward to the positive impact it will have on our visitors’ experience ….”
In addition to the new hotel opening, today the Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust approved an agreement for TNP Fuels, LLC, to build a convenience store on-site at the airport. The convenience store will serve passengers who need to fill fuel tanks before returning their rental cars. It will also be a handy option for the thousands of people who work at or around the airport, and those who live in the surrounding neighborhoods. Construction of the convenience store is scheduled to begin in April 2024.
