Delaware North, in conjunction with the Ottawa International Airport Authority, has opened the Tulip Bar & Wine Lounge at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International (YOW).
“We are excited for the opportunity to serve travelers in Ottawa,” says Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North travel hospitality business. “The Tulip Bar & Wine Lounge provides an upscale option for those looking relax, have a drink and a bite to eat in a unique space that honors the beauty of Ottawa’s famous tulips.”
The lounge is meant to be a celebration of Ottawa’s Tulip Festival. Travelers will be able to choose from a list of Canadian and international wines, cocktails and a small-plate menu that features shrimp tacos, a Chicken Tango wrap, and charcuterie or cheese boards.
“The Ottawa International Airport Authority welcomes Delaware North into its concessionaire family and is extremely impressed with the way that the Tulip Bar & Wine Lounge’s unique design and menu reflects our city’s identity and complements our airport terminal,” says Mark Laroche, airport authority president and CEO. “We are confident that our passengers will enjoy the experience before they board their flights.”
The Tulip Bar & Wine Lounge is located across from Gates 16 and 17 in the post-security area of the airport.
