TWA Hotel at JFK Opens Runway Chalet

Looking to provide guests with even more options during their stay, the TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) has opened The Runway Chalet at the rooftop pool bar of the 512-room hotel.

The Runway Chalet is a toasty 1960s ski lodge-themed getaway that serves food and drinks to guests, who then can take a dip in the pool while overlooking the JFK runway. Among the drinks available at the Runway Chalet are the Idlewild Hot Toddy with Sailor Jerry spiced rum and hot apple cider and The Weather Delay, with features Belvedere vodka and marshmallows in hot chocolate.

The TWA Hotel also features more than 50,000 square feet of meeting space, grab ‘n go dining in the Food Hall and several bars and restaurants, including The Sunken Lounge, Paris Lounge and a Lockheed Constellation L-1649A aircraft that’s been transformed into the Connie cocktail lounge.
