UFood Restaurant Group Inc. and Robinson Hill Hospitality Group of Chicago have signed an area development agreement for additional UFood Grill units at five domestic airports.
The agreement comes after UFood Grill openings by Robinson Hill at Cleveland-Hopkins International (CLE) in July.
“We are thrilled to be part of the expansion of the UFood brand to five more major United States airports, says Dee Robinson, president of the Robinson Hill Hospitality Group. “Our new Cleveland-Hopkins Airport UFood Grill has exceeded our expectations and confirms our belief that consumers want healthier, attractively priced food options in airports and other venues. The extremely positive feedback from our guests was a driving force to enter into this agreement with UFood Grill.”
UFood Restaurant Group signed a master license agreement with Hudson Group in June for UFood Grill units in 10 U.S. airports. It signed another agreement in July for development of 35 UFood Grill units with Congusto LP.
“We are extremely proud of our association with Dee Robinson, president of the Robinson Hill Hospitality Group, who is also our franchisee of the new UFood Grill restaurant in the Cleveland-Hopkins Airport,” says George Naddaff, chairman and CEO of UFood Restaurant Group. “The UFood brand has become very popular with travelers who frequent our restaurants now located in other major airports, as well. More locations will soon be available in airports across the country. We are very excited to be expanding our UFood brand in airports and other non-traditional locations throughout the United States. Airports, colleges and hospitals are a natural fit and in demand for our concept, ‘Where Delicious Meets Nutritious.'”
