US Airways’ gate operations have relocated to the C Concourse at Lambert-St. Louis International (STL).
Operations in Gates C16, C18 and C24 began Oct. 18, a move from their previous home on the A Concourse. The check-in process on Terminal 1 has not changed, but passengers now use the C Concourse checkpoint.
“We think the US Airways move will have a significant positive impact to balance the passenger load between concourses to help reduce security checkpoint wait times on the A Concourse,” says Lambert Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge. “Furthermore, the recently expanded C checkpoint will easily accommodate the increased passenger demand with this change.”
The airline is the STL’s fourth largest, with a 6.5% market share. It operates 17 flights daily to Charlotte, N.C.; Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Phoenix, Ariz.
