Vino Volo has opened a wine-tasting room in the B/C Connector of Philadelphia International (PHL).
At the post-security location, travelers can relax in the combination of wine lounge, restaurant and tasting bar, or they can sit in the adjacent “patio”-style seating.
Wines are available by the glass, in themed tasting flights and by the bottle. Artisan cheeses, smoked salmon-wrapped crab rolls and dry, cured meats can be eaten in the lounge or taken on the plane.
“Passengers don’t expect to relax and recharge in a stylish wine bar at the airport,” says Anna DiGregorio, director of marketing for the Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. “We are constantly looking for new and exciting concepts for our food and retail mix at PHL, and Vino Volo is a sparkling example.”
