The first of the new concessions at John Wayne (SNA) opened this week, and guests will be able to toast it with wine.
Vino Volo, or “wine flight” in Italian, offers wines from around the world by the glass or bottle, wine tastings and a selection of gourmet foods. It can be found in Terminal B across from Gate 9 and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. It also gives consumers the choice of dining there or taking their dishes to go. Wine can also be purchased by the bottle and shipped to the buyer’s preferred destination.
“We provide a unique wine tasting opportunity for air travelers looking for a place to spend their time and relax before boarding,” says Doug Tomlinson, founder and CEO of Vino Volo.
The new concession is part of the Airport Improvement Program, which includes the modernization of the SNA’s Thomas F. Riley Terminal as well as other improvements such as Parking Structure C, a central utility plant, and more than two dozen new dining and retail options.
“The opening of Vino Volo brings us one step closer to our overall plan to implement new, high-quality concessions, offering more dining options for our passengers traveling through John Wayne Airport,” says Airport Director Alan Murphy.
