Westfield Debuts Redevelopment At MCO

Westfield, in partnership with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, redeveloped almost 10,000 square feet of luxury and specialty retail space, as well as a more than 2,000-square-foot arcade, at Orlando International (MCO).

“Working with our partners at GOAA, we really wanted to extend the vacation for travelers and bring the excitement of Orlando into the airport,” says Dominic Lowe, executive vice president of Westfield Airports. “Whether it’s a family looking for an awesome way to pass the time or a business traveler who wants to relax before a meeting, there is something for everyone now.”

Westfield took the six existing spaces and added nine new concepts: Desigual, Guess, Natalie’s Candy Jar, Naturally Inspired, Power Play Arcade, Sketchers, Timeless Travel, Tumi and XpresSpa. Operating partners for the concepts include DFASS Group, Master ConcessionAir, Naturally Inspired Inc., Melshire DFW LP, Power Play Arcade Inc., Sketchers USA Inc. and XpresSpa Orlando LLC.

“Our guests expect the highest caliber travel experience at Orlando International Airport,” says Ray Anderson, senior director of concessions and properties at GOAA. “Part of that expectation is a lineup of world-class retail destinations. The more quality options we can offer, the more enjoyable the visit.”
