Westfield Has Iconic Angel Wings Painted In Multiple Airports

Westfield, in partnership with the Global Angel Wings Project, has had the interactive Angel Wings painted at Los Angeles International (LAX), Chicago O’Hare International (ORD) and Newark Liberty International (EWR).

Offering the opportunity to engage travelers, the wings were painted live by street artist Colette Miller, who also launched the Global Angel Wings Project. Travelers were allowed to take their pictures in front of the wings, and each airport has its own social media hashtag to share. There are special promotions available to travelers who post their photos with the hashtag.

“The airport is the first and last thing travelers experience in a new city, and these angel wings provide something truly inspiring, captivating and motivating,” says Eileen Hanson, Westfield’s senior vice president of marketing. “Working together with our partners at LAX, O’Hare and Newark, we have created a unique opportunity to engage travelers and put smiles on faces.”
