Westfield has begun its competitive evaluation process for the redevelopment of Terminal B in Newark Liberty International (EWR).
More than 33,000 square feet of space is included in the CEP. The 29 opportunities are divided into seven categories – ATMs, currency exchange, duty free, food and beverage, health and wellness, specialty retail and travel essentials.
“This will be a significant redevelopment of Terminal B and the beginning of an enhanced traveler experience,” says Iris Messina, vice president of leasing for Westfield. “We’re looking for unique brands and motivated partners who are excited about working with us to reimagine Terminal B and highlight the amazing sights, sounds and flavors of New Jersey.”
Proposals are due by Jan. 31, 2017. Westfield will host an outreach event and tour of the terminal on Dec. 13 where it will present its vision.
