HMSHost Corp. has announced the opening of White Spot at Vancouver International (YVR).
The casual-dining restaurant has been a staple in the British Columbia and Alberta for more than 82 years. The YVR location is located in the Domestic Terminal, Pre-Security, Level 3.
“HMSHost has created a beautiful new restaurant here at YVR, and we’re very excited to welcome the White Spot brand to the airport,” says Sue Stiene, director of retail and passenger services at YVR. “It is one more reason for passengers and the general public to come enjoy everything we have to offer at YVR.”
Menu offerings include burgers, appetizers, salads, flatbreads, rice bowls and stir-fry. Thirsty patrons may order wine, martinis, margaritas and Nat Bailey Pale Ale and Lager, made exclusively for the restaurant by Granville Island Brewing.
“White Spot is a tried-and-true West Coast favorite, and we are thrilled that travelers, YVR employees and local residents will be able to experience our new restaurant. Whether the dining occasion is for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a drink and appetizer, guests will enjoy great tasting food and best in class service,” says Warren Erhart, president of White Spot Ltd.
Renee Tedesco, vice president of HMSHost Business Development, says, “Our goal always is to make the traveler’s day better at Vancouver International Airport. We enjoy a great partnership with the airport authority and value their confidence in our ability to enhance their already outstanding airport restaurant program.”
