XspresSpa will soon be offering kiosk and pop-up concepts that are meant to offer immediate, mobile solutions and are portable in design. The company wants to give airport partners the flexibility to set up the spas at gates during delays or cancellations. Chair massages and express manicures are some of the services that will be offered at the kiosks and pop-ups.
“Airlines can’t control arrival/departure flight delays to unexpected weather, mechanical issues or air traffic, but what they can now offer travelers are indulging services and amenities right at their gate and within minutes,” says Ed Jankowski, CEO of XpresSpa. “XpresSpa’s fully immersive pop-up spa prototypes were developed as part of our customer-focused expansion plans, and we’re excited to display them first at the 2017 ARN Conference.”
XpresSpa has tested these mobile solutions at Miami International (MIA), as well as at Charlotte Douglas International (CLT).
