YYC Adds Wellness Element With New PrimeCare Health Clinic

Travelers through Calgary International (YYC) are now able to seek health care services if necessary.

PrimeCare Health has opened a full-service medical clinic within the airport that will provide walk-in and family doctor services for passengers, members of the airport community and people in surrounding neighborhoods.

“This is the first airport location for PrimeCare Health and is an impressive new service offering for the airport community and our passengers,” says Don Kolsun, director of commercial and retail development for the Calgary Airport Authority. “We are focused on offering a wide range of services to all airport users, and this latest addition showcases YYC’s commitment to ensuring our passengers, partners and community have access to a variety of health and wellness options.”

The clinic offers numerous health care services, such as family and walk-in medical, occupational health, physical therapy and therapeutic/rehabilitative massage therapy. Those using the clinic will get up to two hours of complimentary parking.

“PrimeCare Health is delighted to join the YYC community, and we look forward to serving the health and wellness needs of the growing employee base and passenger mix,” says James Foster, president of PrimeCare Health. “Our diverse service offering and friendly staff will be a great fit in this dynamic environment.”
