SSP America this week announces it will bring eight new food and beverage options to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) in the coming years, providing travelers with new dining and beverage choices highlighting local flavors, national brands and healthier fare.
Included in the announced options are two Dunkin’ locations, one in Concourse A and one on the west side of Concourse B of the airport, as well as a larger footprint for Chick-fil-A in the CVG Concourse B food court.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is also coming to the Concourse B food court, providing travelers with soft corn tortillas brimming with fillings such as grilled or tempura fish, shrimp, spicy pork, fajita chicken and shredded brisket, as well as a selection of burritos, quesadillas, “Diggable” burrito bowls, nachos and “Big Bowled” salads.
In Concourse A, SSP is introducing a new local concept: Bourbon Kitchen, a regionally-focused, bourbon distillery tasting room experience featuring world-class, Kentucky bourbons and a bourbon inspired, localized menu. It also announces the Stella Artois/Urban Market in Concourse A will be converted to a localized café & bar with handcrafted drinks and Ohio brews combined with locally tailored street fare.
Another SSP developed concept, Carmella’s Modern Trattoria, will provide passengers with chef-driven choices and from scratch dishes, including freshly prepared pizzas, overstuffed sandwiches, burgers, small plates of antipasti, and a range of soups, salads and pasta.
SSP says the Panda Express in Concourse A will become Camden Food Co., a company developed boutique urban gourmet market brand designed specifically for travelers and the airport environment.
“Currently one of the fastest growing airports in the nation, CVG is experiencing positive growth as a direct result of the airport’s focused inward investment,” says Paul Loupakos, vice president of business development for SSP America. “SSP America is delighted to be a part of this next chapter. We bring a diverse mix of local and national brands, as well as custom-designed restaurants that will give passengers a true taste of the region.”
The new food and beverage locations are anticipated to open the first quarter of 2021 through first quarter of 2022.
