Daren Griffin has been officially named the president and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA), operator of Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), succeeding Marily Mora, who is retiring after 19 years with the authority.
Griffin brings decades of aviation experience to his new position, including serving at the Port of Portland as director of operations of Portland International Airport (PDX). Earlier in his career, Griffin worked as deputy director of Yuma International Airport (YUM).
The RTAA Board of Trustees voted unanimously to hire Griffin to a five-year contract, following a nationwide search that began early in 2020.
