SAT Celebrates DreamWeek with Arts, Music

San Antonio Airport System begins a week of special arts and music events at San Antonio International Airport (SAT) to help the city celebrate DreamWeek.

DreamWeek is January 10-26 and is held each year in concurrence with the City of San Antonio’s annual Martin Luther King Commemorative March. Its mission is to celebrate our humanity by creating environments for civil and civic engagement to embrace ideas and dreams for the common good.

The SAT programming will feature local music icon and internationally-known jazz saxophonist Billy Ray Sheppard. It will also feature the work of Houston-native Kaldric Dow, considered the leading African American artist for millennials, whose work often references African American history, the civil rights movement, hip-hop culture and the relationship between pop culture and fine art.
