Passengers at San Antonio International Airport (SAT) will soon be able to leave their car right at the terminal entrance thanks to a new curbside valet service set to be officially launched at the airport next month.
The valet service, which airport officials suggest is the first of its kind in Texas, eliminates the need for travelers to have to drive to a parking garage to valet park their car.
When the passenger returns, they will be able use a mobile app to coordinate their arrival so that they simply move from the gate, to baggage claim, then back to the curbside where their car is waiting for them.
When fully operational, SAT officials say there will be additional services offered at different price points, from being greeted with a newspaper and beverage to having their baggage checked when they drop their car. Other options include a car wash, interior detailing, oil change, tire rotation and more.
