SAT Teams with Texas Forces on Vaccine Clinic

San Antonio Airport System said this week it is teaming up with the Texas Army National Guard and Texas Division of Emergency Management to host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the San Antonio International Airport (SAT).

The SAT clinic is part of a program in Texas to have military doctors and nurses set up mobile vaccine clinics throughout the state. The clinic at the airport is located in the baggage area of Terminal A and is available to anyone who wants to receive it.

“This is a service we are offering travelers and our community is to ensure they are safe and to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 and most importantly, we want to make sure everyone is aware that the vaccine is available at the airport. It’s free and very accessible.” said Jesus H. Saenz, Jr., director of airports for San Antonio Airport System. “Greater. Safer. Together, we want to do our part to protect our customers and the community.”

The COVID-19 clinic will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until September 12.
